Jim began his tenure at Saint Mary's in February 2025 as the inaugural Senior Vice President for Student Experience and Enrollment Management.

For 13 years, Jim served as interim vice president for student services and enrollment management at the University of Oregon, where he managed a staff of more than 1,100. Among other departments, he oversaw the offices of Admissions, Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, Continuing and Professional Education, Student Orientation Programs, University Health Services, and University Housing.

Prior to becoming interim vice president at UO early in 2024, Jim served in progressively responsible leadership roles in the area of financial aid and scholarships, beginning as director of that office in 2011 and culminating in a promotion to senior associate vice president and director in 2022.
